E46 Vented Hood

Made entirely from pre-impregnated carbon fibre (prepreg) and autoclave-cured, this bonnet has been developed and produced at our facilities in A Coruña (Spain) by highly qualified staff with extensive experience manufacturing carbon automotive components.

This is a reinterpretation of the original M3 E46 hood, incorporating ventilation inlets carefully integrated into the design. These allow hot air accumulated in the engine bay to be evacuated, promoting better cooling and more efficient thermal management during sporty driving or under demanding conditions.

The hood’s inner structure has also been redesigned, adapting the structural reinforcements to the new exterior design. The part is manufactured in two sections (inner and outer) which are then bonded with high-strength structural adhesives, resulting in a lightweight and extremely rigid assembly.

Compatible with original BMW components, it allows reuse of OEM latches, kidney grilles and grilles, making integration into the vehicle easier.

• 2×2 gloss exposed carbon, with automotive clear coat with UV protection for increased durability
