Payment

You may pay for your purchases using the following methods:

  • Credit or debit card
  • PayPal. In this case, a 5% surcharge applies for PayPal fees.
  • Bank transfer

Taxes

Residents of the European Union:

The prices of the products for sale in our store do not include taxes. Customers in the European Union must pay the applicable VAT. Purchases made by VAT taxable persons (companies, entities, organisations, etc.) resident in the European Union and holding an intra-Community VAT number will be exempt from paying VAT, provided they can justify it.

Residents of non-EU countries:

Purchases made by individuals or legal entities resident in non-EU countries will be exempt from paying VAT.

For this purchasing system and due to their tax regime, the geographical areas corresponding to Ceuta and Melilla are considered non-EU territories.

Import taxes

Please note that the prices indicated for shipping costs do not include import taxes (duties), which will be paid at destination by the recipient of the goods. Please check with your country’s customs service for any charges that may apply to your purchase before placing the order.

Legislation

The purchasing system is subject to the legislation in force in Spain. Therefore, sales transactions shall be deemed to have been carried out at the registered office of Karbonius Composites, Rúa Oliveiras nº 36A, 15895 Ames, A Coruña, Spain.

Shipping

Shipping address

At Karbonius, we pay special attention to the packaging and shipping of our products; however, if there is any shipping issue due to an error on our part, we will resend the product at no additional cost to you.

Karbonius Composites shall not be liable for any shipping incident due to errors in the address provided. Please ensure that all details provided, both for shipping and for invoicing, are correct. Failure to receive the product due to customer errors will require payment of new shipping costs to the correct address.

Shipping times

For items in stock, the shipping time is 3–5 days. For all other items, once the order has been received, Karbonius Composites will contact you to inform you of the shipping time. During periods of high demand, delays may occur.

Delivery times

Within the European Union:

The average delivery time is 3–6 business days.

Outside the European Union

The average customs clearance time is 4–7 business days. Home delivery time will depend on how long it takes for the taxes to be paid, which will always be borne by the buyer. Karbonius shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control or by force majeure.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs shall always be borne by the customer and will be paid at the time of purchase. In rural or island areas, shipping costs may be higher.

Shipping incidents

All our products are carefully packaged so that the customer receives them in perfect condition. If a product is delivered in poor condition due to improper handling by the carrier, the customer must file a claim directly with that company, and Karbonius will be exempt from any liability.

If you have not received your order after 20 days from the shipping date, please contact us to check the status of the shipment.

Warranty and complaint resolution

Warranty:

Please keep the warranty sent with the product, together with the invoice; presenting them is required for any inspection, exchange, or return.

Our products come with a 3-year warranty against any manufacturing defect. This does not include defects caused by negligence, impacts, improper use or handling, incorrect installation, or materials subject to wear and tear from normal use.

In cases that justify the use of the warranty, Karbonius Composites reserves the right to choose between repair, replacement of the item, a price reduction, or a refund.

The warranty will be void:

  • If any of the details on the warranty or the invoice are modified, altered, or replaced.
  • If the identification number or the part itself is tampered with or repaired without the knowledge of Karbonius Composites.

Complaints:

For the resolution of disputes, the parties submit, waiving any other jurisdiction, to the courts and tribunals of the seller’s domicile.

Returns

Period

The return period for items is 15 calendar days from delivery of the order.

The product must be unused and in perfect condition, including accessories, documentation, and original packaging; otherwise, the item will be subject to depreciation.

Karbonius will only accept the return of items with manufacturing defects prior to installation or use; therefore, it is very important that you inspect the product before installing it.

Exceptions

Returns will not be accepted for products that have been modified, improperly treated, scratched, dented, or damaged in any other way (including damage incurred during shipping).

Returns will not be accepted for custom-made products, nor for products that show signs of having been installed.

You have already returned or exchanged the same item previously (except for defects).

The item was purchased in a promotion where it was stated that returns are not accepted.

To make a return, you must send the product in its original packaging, including accessories and documentation, to the following address:

Once the goods have been received at our warehouses and their condition has been checked, the amount will be refunded according to the payment method used by the customer, excluding commissions and shipping costs.

In cases where the received part can be repaired, or only one of its components is damaged, a partial refund may be offered. This decision is at the seller’s discretion.

If the returned product cannot be resold, Karbonius may decide to return the product to the customer, with the customer bearing the shipping costs.

Costs

Shipping and handling costs, as well as any applicable fees, shall be borne by the customer.
