Made entirely from pre-impregnated carbon fibre (prepreg) and cured in a mould and autoclave oven, this structural panel offers an exceptional combination of lightness, stiffness, and dimensional accuracy. With an approximate weight of just 5 kg, it reduces around 11 kg compared to the original steel part, significantly improving the power-to-weight ratio and the vehicle’s dynamic behaviour.
The part replicates the original BMW dimensions and directly replaces OEM reference 41217896145, making it an ideal solution for race cars, extreme weight-reduction projects, or high-end rebuilds.
Supplied as standard with an exposed carbon finish straight from the mould, and also available with different finish options to suit each project’s needs.
